Damn..I think I finally found my motivation to lose weight😅

“You’re making your car slower”
I haven’t even done anything to it yet 😭
SlowVMustang
The absolute best performance mod you can have for your a great set of tires.

"If it doesn't add power, lower your car or lose weight it's not performance"
Brakes, differentials, transmissions and tyres: "am I a joke to you"
Nismonath
The one caveat to this is sticky tires, the moat fun you can possibly have in a slow car is some fuckin nice sticky tires, even if they are on steelies, also the best free "mod" you can do is clean the ever loving shit outta your interior, and exterior, trust me you feel like a goddamm king

Everyone knows that putting "Louder than your girl last night" stickers on your car increases your horsepower by 100 per sticker

I just love the fact that people put pod filters on their car that already has a cold air intake snorkel from factory

"Adding an air intake won't make your car faster"
10 seconds later
"If you're getting more air you'll go faster"

all i did performance wise on my daily was an ECU tune. turbo cars really benefit from it.

A good set of tyres and the back stripped out 👌🏼that’s my kind of thing.
Saying that a bucket seat will make you faster even though it can’t add power. All that butt feel.

Only reason I bought an airbox delete kit is so it makes more sound. Maybe it will free up the top end as well, but that's just a bonus in that case.
killswitch_disengage
Chassis stiffening mods are legit things, also a reminder that lower ≠ faster
izayoiaifuyu
Bruv a proper cold air intake does improve throttle response and a new clean ground wire is definitely better then an old rusty crusty ground wire. I hear you and understand but every little bit counts. Sure you cant expect mad power from either of these things clearly but every little bit helps when building on a budget 😂

ARBs, tires, and driver mods are severely underrated mods
judgemental
Yup. Only things I've done to my car is put a better flowing header on it a better (still OEM though) cam in it lowered it and put wheels on it for more tire

Hotter cleaner spark can help with low (stock low not blow by low) compression and pump gas. I was blown away by adding an msd box to my bronco
jacobchandler
Adding performance parts doesn't do anything without changing the tune of the motor. You can slam on air scoops and cold air intakes but if you don't tune it to use that air does nothing. Cool parts are useless unless they/you change the tune to actually use what you give it.
thee_number_six
I mean, you spoke facts but also the most obvious facts ever the only people who need to hear this are really stupid and shouldn’t be doing anything with cars anyways, people who mod their cars already know this

It took me a frikin month to get an actual intake system for the Sierra 5.3 that gave gains for my setup. Gains were negligible but those gains came with the biggest part of all. A slight, but still a drop in over all temp.
Now the exhaust and shit. I don’t even want to say how many weekends I spent welding and spacing and measuring. Worth it but I fear ever having to fix anything

A turbo could get less, or more cold air depending on it's orientation in the engine bay, so if you face the turbine at the front of the car, it increases your performance
