personally i rly liked fps, 8am, fear of heights, slime you out and away from home. Daylight is lowkey one my favourite songs tho, if it were longer and not jammed with an intro and the adonis thing, it would be a contender for the best song. Ofc hes saying a lot without actually saying anything, but hes been doing that since views. I don’t go into drake music for the bars because its known that he doesnt have many. I can appreciate something like an 8am in charlotte that is very well written but in the end daylights what i’ve been going back to most. One the only songs he sounds like hes attempting to bring energy and i like the flow he came with. Overall, 5 or 6. Best solo project since more life for me

Drake has one of the most unappealing personalities in music. Hot take, Honestly Nevermind is one of his best projects because it is mostly devoid of his usual gross personality. I don't get why everyone was so repulsed by it, it wasn't great, but for me it was pretty easy listening, as opposed to an album full of manipulative, surface level, corny stunted man child bars. I don't get why anyone would take Way Too Sexy over some mid house.

if drake committed to the more adventurous sounds on the album on tracks like virginia beach, idgaf, and 7969 santa, while cutting down on the bloat of the later tracks, it would be a strong 8 to a light 9

as it stands, it’s a strong 6 to a light 7. that said, still the best drake album in years. that’s not saying much, given everything from views to honesty nevermind

But the long run and unnecessary boring songs gave it a scorpion-esque feel

Idk imo ive aged out of Drake, definitely makes teenager young adult music, i do try to listen to all his new albums but like honestly im usually taped out after 6 songs in and i just then will blindly click one and fast forward to see if the music or flow is good, if not next song. Like my little brother was clowning me for listening to Jumbotron shit poppin because its “old” already and i was like bruh i didnt even know it was on the album i aint make that far when it came out. 💀 scorpion is the last album i remember i grinded it out listened to it all when it dropped
