"Squark is a character created by the American video game designer Arnold Handsome, Daniel Avidaniel and Ninja Brian. He is the star of the Squark fracnhise and mascot of the American video game company Squark Co. Squark is a squirrel, except really cool. He sports an epic blue and yellow baseball cap, turned around backwards, and shreds on an insanely cool skateboard of the same color scheme. Squark resides on the quantum realm, after being transported accidentally into a portal by the mad scientis, Mr. Dongsbury, while chasing after his iconic acorn. The series generally revolves around Squark trying to retrieve his acorn form the evil Electchode, a humanoid electron.

Squark first appeared as the player character in Squark (1983), a platform game. Arnold Handsome and Daniel Avidaniel wanted Squark to appeal to nature lovers, thus leading to Squark's original animal-like design, rather than his more humanoid bipedal design which can be seen in Squark, the sequel to Squark. In the original Squark, Squark, would run on the ground to retrieve his acorn from the evil Electchode, while in Squark, the remake of Squark, Squark uses a skateboard. The change in tone between the games was partly due to the ppor sales of the first, and also partly due to the fact that Ninja Brian stabbed both Arnold and Daniel to death over a creative dispute with Squark's hat. Ninja Brian is now the sole owner of Squark, and Squark, the remake of Squark, as well as Squark 3D.

Squark has has appeared in 3 games: Squark, Squark and Ninja Brian's Super Murder Land (1992). Suprisingly,
Squark | _ \ / _ | 3D does not feature Squark, Instead heavily focusing on the antagonis of the original series, Electchode.
In Ninja | _ / \ \/ / \ _ | Brian's Super Murder Land, Ninja Brian and Electchode team up to kill the two antagonists of the game,
