I’m starting out in this game soon and plan on getting a ship my friend and I can co pilot and do some missions in. How do we do missions together though? Is it possible we both get the same mission and just complete it and both turn it in? Can you share a mission? Or do we just split the profits from one mission? Can anyone explain?

hi thanks for the video. question if you upgrade your ship with say different guns or shield and it get blown up . does all the upgrades go with it and you have to buy then again . or is it once purchased they are yours ? and you just have to fit them again. I ask as I heard that when your ship gets blown up it comes back as a factory set ship.

Hey Brad, Awesome little video. not a lot of people start with the big choice of picking the base game or if to also get "SQ42 combo pack. However it's worth noting that come the IAE event (next week) and the Holliday sales (usually end of November / some point December, the base starting packs usually go for $5 cheaper than usual. Well worth a mention for those still on the ball of getting into SC or not and are fine with waiting a few months before making the decision.

I recommend tossing in "chapters" to the youtube scrub bar to help with people looking for the beginner ship recommendations. especially the comparison of the Aurora vs the Mustang for those just looking for that information.

You can get a package into the mustang without the tractor beam, it is very tricky and to get the package out you have to open the canopy mid flight and barrel roll to drop the package out…

Don't forget to mention they ARENT joking about those system requirements. Luckily I had the free fly event to see if I even have a chance at playing despite being just slightly below the "minimums" and let's say... it wasn't good. 5-10 minutes to load in, falling through floors that didn't show up, getting stuck in walls that show up randomly.


I really wish I had a PC capable of playing it 😞

So is the starter pack basically you buying the game? Or is the game “free” but you just need a ship

Bought into this last weekend, and as yet U have been unable to get my ship off the ground and out of the hangar. I've checked and rechecked my bindings. My buttons seem to work, but my sticks don't seem to do anything. For those using HOSAS, are you using joystick gremlin or something similar? My right stick is a mongoos cm2 and my left stick is a constellation delta.
