Hi!
Thank you for an incredible tutorial! So helpful !

I was hoping if you'd be open to helping me out with a doubt.

So, let's say we have an HDRI which has 2 light spots. What I was hoping to achieve was in nuke we should be able to find those 2 spots and returns the 2d location.

And now, I was hoping to convert that into the 3d coordinates; so when I load the hdri in my DCC (maya, houdini) it should create the lights according to the position of the hdri in 3d space.

Additionally, is there a way to find the brightest spots in one go and then it can auto blend/paintout based around the nearby pixels?

can you try and catch the exception of any error with the output being that it force closes the group and outputs the console error message in a dialog box? That way you still get the error message and close the group at the same time

try: code, except: handle error, finally: group.end()
