if AT&T thinks "cable" tv is dead then you can expect cable tv to be alive and well. just do the opposite of what AT&T does and you'll be right most of the time

In the late 90’s AT&T ran the cable tv in my town they were terrible every month I had a service interruption, so in 1999 I went to direct tv then when they took over direct tv it was “uh oh” time 😂

All they had to do was allow the user to select individual channels and I would have never left cable.

Directv lost me due to price increases and NASTY customer disservice.

Al-la-cart 10 years ago would have saved cab/sat. Too late now. Couldn't have happened to a better bunch of crooks.

I hope Sling TV does not eventually disappear as it is my go to for many sports and entertainment programs.

I live in a rural area and still don't get high speed internet. Old phone line is my option. Dish/direct TV only options so prices to skyrocket. There still are areas without options for great internet.

DIRECTV probably would’ve done better if they didn’t have AT&T’s customer service I know that’s the reason I left at least for the most part. Second of all I didn’t watch TV enough.

I was a direct tv customer for over 30 years, great picture but was ruined by ATT. Horrible customer service

If AT&T says that “Cable Is Dead, ” I agree with them. You take a look at all the cable companies and why they are struggling. What did I tell you people that the cable industry is already overstayed its welcome.

Congratulations to the networks and other content providers. You have effectively killed off your golden geese with your carriage fees.

ATT did the same thing in the 1990s. They bought up everybody they could get their hands on. Except this time the industry through technology development changed on them. And strangely enough the iPhone, which ATT was the first to sell in their stores, made smaller screens available to the up and coming younger crowd. Only ATT was probably too old in the minds of young customers to win out.

All problems still stem from networks, they still think it’s the 90’s when people were wiling to pay for a restrictive tv plan.

Don't they just understand that if they charge more than people can afford and give you a bunch of channels you don't want that this would happen....world of economics.

AT&T loses $30 billion and the CEO will get a big bonus.

It's still TV...you can call it what you want, but at the end of the day it is TV...wether you watch TV from your local provider, Direct TV, YouTube TV, Hulu, etc it's still ESPN. And programmers are the smartest people in the room and they will get your money...

Amazon wants to test the "news" waters with Brian Williams? LOL. Don't hold your breath on whether that will go well. It won't.

I would appreciate a video with your opinions on where TV will go over the next 5, 10+ years.
