Dang! Maine has some crazy trails! I can’t believe how much rock climbing/scrambling there is! I naively thought all hiking trails were nice paths like they are in the Smokies! 😂

This brought back memories. I went through solo in 1980. It started raining about 100 feet into the Notch and poured all the way through. The rain stopped when I reached the other end but left me with a wet, slippery pull up Mahoosuc Arm. In my view that was harder than the Notch, probably because I anticipated the latter and wasn’t psyched for the climb. Thanks for letting us follow along.
