CBIA’s Sept. 30 2021 Connecticut Economy conference delivered critical discussions about the state’s economic recovery, with a particular focus on how Connecticut cities and towns are supporting small businesses.

State representative Christine Goupil moderated a discussion between four Connecticut mayors, West Hartford's Shari Cantor, Torrington's Elinor Carbone, Stratford's Laura Hoydick, and the City of Groton's Keith Hedrick.

The municipal leaders shared their strategies for helping small businesses survive and recover from the pandemic, including their plans for using federal relief funds to support economic growth.

The Connecticut Economy conference was made possible through the generous support of Marcum LLP with additional support from Eversource Energy, Liberty Bank, People's United Bank, Wells Fargo, and Windsor Federal Savings.
