Zero to Success - a Mother & Daughter's Extraordinary Journey (Hindi) | Urban Company

Kolkata's Mita has come a long, long way from making ends meet by selling chanachur and incense sticks on the streets to earning a minimum of Rs. 50,000 every month as an Urban Company salon partner.

Married at 13, divorced a few years later and bringing up a daughter single-handedly, Mita had vowed to never let her daughter go through anything similar. And so, she's raising her to stand on her own two feet. Today, her daughter is studying English Honours, is undertaking an airhostess training course & will next study to become an advocate as well.

13 साल की उम्र में शादी हुई, कुछ साल बाद तलाक हो गया और अकेले ही एक बेटी का लालन-पालन किया, मीता ने कसम खाई थी कि वह अपनी बेटी को कभी भी ऐसा कुछ अनुभव नहीं करने देगी। और इसलिए, वह उसे अपने दो पैरों पर खड़ा करने के लिए प्रेरित कर रही है। आज उनकी बेटी इंग्लिश ऑनर्स की पढ़ाई कर रही है, एयरहोस्टेस ट्रेनिंग कोर्स कर रही है और आगे पढ़ाई के साथ-साथ एडवोकेट भी बनेगी।
