Anna Wintour might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but she is a professional. Showed up on time and prepared a speech honoring Naomi and had to leave the event to go to another engagement. As much as I like Naomi’s work, I’m tired of her entitlement, her privilege and her narrative of being a strong black woman who overcame many obstacles to reach her level of success. No girl, you are privileged and entitled! You’re also an ingrate because people like Anna opened the doors for you and you are privileged to still be modeling in your 50s, but with those bad habits of being late and “clapping back”, those doors can be closed on you, just watch!
