Very good Prof! What about checking the input line? Using continuity? If there is short we can see it? Or we can inject voltage with a power supply and watch the current consumption and watch it with thermal camera to see what component getting hot. Thx!

What about the reciver 12v power supply.. ist detecting short circuit and shuts off? Or we just cannot see the voltage because the ic is taking all the voltage
