Posture, repetitious habits and even sitting/sleeping on soft sofas/beds can contribute to lower back pain.

Thank you Dr. Yuka.
I was arguing with some of my comrades about the rapid increase in the prevalence of Lower Back Pain in our country Cameroon. Telling them that it's a disability on it's own not too directly related to aging.
I'm currently carrying out my master's thesis on this topic.
Wish me luck 😊.

Sounds nice, but may be misleading for many people if the discussion does not start with defining etiologies of low back pain.

Opioids are also ineffective treatment for LBP, which undermine healing and can cause addiction and even worse suffering even though they give the initial illusion of improvement.

Acupuncturists are particularly effective at reducing chronic low back pain, with the use of herbs, nutrition counseling, needles and other treatments which are non-invasive. In the USA, there are new laws coming which make getting treatments to alleviate low-back pain may be covered by Medicare. Talk to your primary provider for your options.
