My wife and I are extremely excited for this game. We both feel most modern MMO's have strayed too far from their roots. I think there are a lot of us older MMO veterans who miss the classic EQ style game play.

This will be the true Everquest 2. I love Everquest 1, and I have been waiting forever for a game as good as it to come out. Pantheon is that game. Can't wait to sink my teeth into it. If it's like EQ from the old days, then leveling will be slow, give you plenty of time to get to know your characters, and actually enjoy the zones, and make friends, and work together to advance in the world.

Games to day, you can lvl 20 or 30 or more lvls in a day. It's so fast, you just blow through the content, and you can do it by yourself. EQ back in the day, you were lucking to get 1 lvl, and more likely half a lvl. Yet, you have the time of your life. A lvl 1 mob would kill you, if you weren't careful. There are so many elementals that made up EQ, and made it the best game, and Pantheon is being made by the same people that made EQ. I can't wait for this game.

Absolutely, I come from the old EQ days and loved the way class differences forced grouping. Yes its hard, and at times you have to wait an age for a group but it was always worth the wait....

It's going to have that classic feel. It's been mentioned in nearly every stream and or articles. People may grumble about the Sword and Board style of fighting, but if we're talking 'traditional' MMO then we are hearkening back to EQ/EQII style play. It may not appearl to "Current" MMO players" as much as "Classic Style" MMO players. Your character will have a unique role, unlike some MMO's where someone can be the jack of all trades making grouping trivial.

I know a lot of people complain about the graphics. BUt Honestly, The landscapes and ambient effects are top notch, Not to mention the detail in character models. For me I'd play it and love it TODAY :D But that's just me. Great video!

I'm looking forward to this game. I hope they find a good balance between group play and solo play though. Sometimes, depending on my mood, I like to just go out and solo stuff, do trade skills or farm mats. Like after getting off of night shift, logging in for about an hour and playing before bed. not really into grouping ALL the time. Balance is key, I think.
