When I watched this match last night my head seriously went blank at that 2-0 40-40 point. Like how did that umpire miss the double bounce in the first place and then after seeing it in VAR replay 50 times, clear as day still stand her ground?? It just blew my mind that this is an umpire in a grand slam. How is that possible?? We all saw it! That shot was 1000% invalid. The video replay was not showing a close call, it was clear that it was a double bounce. That the empire didn’t get DQ boggles the mind

Вот уж не ожидал, что такая внешне спокойная и рассудительная спортсменка как Калинская позволит себе детские эмоции и карпизы. Игра была закончена после той досадной ошибки судей в первом сете (двойной отскок у Хаддад-Майи). Вот так по-юниорски пойти в эмоциональный разнос непозволительная роскошь на шлеме. Урок на будущее надеюсь будет усвоен.

The umpire should realize that if you dig out a drop shot inches before a 2nd bounce and then it has topspin going over the net, that the ONLY WAY you can do that is by hitting off the frame INTO the court before going over the net. Shouldn't even have to look at a replay.

Lo mas destacado y por mucho, en este partido, fue la deshonestidad de Haddad Maia y el terrible error de la juez de silla y hasta el VAR, al no reconocer que en una jugada, la bola pico dos veces cuando Haddad Maia intento devolverla. Esa tremenda deshonestidad y error, impactaron emocionalmente a Kalinskaya, que lo reclamo ante la juez e silla, sin exito. Este antideportivismo de Haddad Maia no deberia ser. El error de la juez de silla no debio ser y el error del VAR tampoco, Pero tampoco debio ser el error de Kalinskaya de no poder superarlo y hundirse.
