Lightning Rod’s Last Launch At Dollywood: Coaster Takeover!

Dollywood is closing down their Lightning Rod roller coaster to remove the launch forever!!! In favor of a new high speed chain lift hill! So this video is for anyone out there who wanted to see how the launch worked! What are your thoughts about Dollywood’s Lightning Rod?

Every time I’ve ever been to Dollywood the lightning rod has been closed I was especially hoping to ride it when I went 3 weeks ago but it was down then and then finally I went this weekend looking at the construction and expecting I’ll just have to wait till the spring and experience it without the launch😢
