About Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada:

Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada is one of the top Japanese Chefs in the entire world and the most popular Japanese chef on YouTube.

At age 10, Terada learned the basics of sushi from his father and then went on to attend RKC Chef's School in Kochi, Japan from 1987-1989. He soon earned a nickname for his fast knife, attention to detail, divine presentation and ability to create new dishes and accents based on traditional Japanese cuisine. After graduating RKC Chef School, he was called to serve under Master Chef Kondo at Yuzuan restaurant in Kochi, Japan from 1989-1992. Mr. Kondo is the master of Kansai style cooking, considered to be the high-end of Japanese cuisine. Terada earned the title Master Sushi Chef by becoming the standing head sushi chef & can serve Fugu (Japan Licensed) to the public.

Chef Hiroyuki Terada is using the Minonokuni Matsu-1573 210mm Yanagi. Super Blue Steel. Can also be used for breaking down whole fish and chickens. But normally for slicing, sashimi, vegetables, meat etc.. This is Chef Hiro's custom specked knife.

My preference is skip the music while Hiro is cutting/dicing. I like watching, and hearing the live sound. Really enjoy your channel, and this dish looks freaking amazing!

Hiro is so tough on himself! I know the egg is supposed to ooze out when cut but it still looks delicious and I swear I could almost smell how great it is!

Camera Guy: Are you putting anything else in the eggs?

Hiro: Just Salt.

Camera Guy: When I do my eggs I put in half a litre of milk.

Hiro: You do them however you want.

Camera Guy: It starts out as an omelette but always ends up as scrambled eggs.

We grew up eating om-rice, as my dad and mom called it. Now I need to find out what leftovers created it. 1 Marine, 1 Okinawan(mother), and 4 kids. I remember my dad would make faces or characters or words on the omelette topping which wasn't that thick. The rice had ketchup in it. It was so good and personal to have a drawings on the omelette top! Great memories from Okinawa brought to America! Thanks for the throwback!!

That omelette is so hard to get the perfect level of doneness so it opens up over the rice. Great work Chef Hiro!! I loved the ending where the video couldn’t end until Charles got in all of his “mmm’s”. :D

just as a polite criticism, the editor needs to stop muting the audio in the kitchen and replacing it with music. feels amateur which obviously hiro isn’t! besides, still love the video
