I have no idea who kryture is, but I’ll definitely tune in to some of their older music, this is absolutely smacking! The spicy snare and sound design makes me feel something I never felt before, the way the vocals blend in perfectly, and oh boy that second drop gave me HUGE Staysick vibes, I actually thought this was him in the preview because of how similar it sounded to his “Catcha Vibe” collaboration with Castle. Overall, this is a HAYMAKER MASTERPIECE from whoever these people are, and I will definitely tune in to some of their most recent and older tunes, 16/10 🧽

Yeah. The second i heard this song in the first preview, i instantly new i would love this song. Just everything about it is epic: the build up is epic, the vocal samples are epic, the random cackle in the drop, even the switch up at the end still gets me. Easiest 10/10 in my life. Probably my favorite song in the entire comp. Great job Kryture and Sam Lamar!!!

This gets better, Track 5) Kryture & Sam Lamar - Phantom.
The intro, good suspense and good dark theme, leads, plucks, and all the melodic rest that the track has, are good, good build-up, and the 1st drop, wow, if they took it seriously, it has good flow and good riddim phantom (I have no more ideas to say, the riddim is good, although it also has a snare, it could be a good tearout).
Come back and play, the melodies, your selection of sounds, well equalized, and go back to the little-heard build-up (obviously, with changes), let's go to the 2nd drop, out of the way, it's great, same rhythm, same vibe and it changes a little sub-bass, and well, some melodic changes with the same, fascinating flow they have, and it ends with a good dark outro.
Remember the score:
- 0/1.9 (Horrible)
- 2/3.9 (Bad)
- 4/5.9 (Fair)
- 6/7.9 (Good)
- 8/9.9 (Excellent)
- +10 (Legendary)
This track can be overrated, good combo.
Kryture & Sam Lamar - Phantom (8.4/10).
(It looks like a Subtronics and/or Kompany combo)
Greetings to all ⚔️

Drop 1 1:16 (1:10)
Drop 2 2:46

Kryture's back on RT, this time with newcomer Sam Lamar ! These two already did a collab last year, "Machete" on Kryture's Cyclops Recordings EP.
With this one, it reminds me of Kompany, which is not a bad thing because it's pretty fire ! It's definitely better than their previous collab for sure.

When you mix a lot of things in one drop, it's a very dangerous thing, and this ended being as bad as the perfect example for this, which is the Levi Walsh and Beutnoise track in Reinforcements vol. 1. Started very good and impactful asf, ended very messy, mixing very muddy and overall very hard to understand... The second drop isn't bad it's just not entirely for me.

Kinda basic but it was still pretty good 👍

Track 05: Phantom - Kryture & Sam Lamar

Reminds me of old Bandlez, stompy, funny simples and funky, but something about the mixing i don't like, maybe how muddy is or the loudness, the second drop is actually better than the first one, the off drops are ok and the ending is fine, the "DROP IT LIKE IS HOT" vocal is something i got tired really quick
Decent at best
Mediocre at worst
5/10

Track 5: Kryture x Sam Lamar - Phantom

This track in my opinion loses steam after a while. The first drop is WEIGHTY, has a lot of energy, and the stabs are very punchy. The sustain is a bit iffy, but it’s tolerable. The switch in the second half is a little too loud though. The second drop just personally isn’t my taste. Starts off very well, I just don’t like the switches later on, including the snare switch. (4.5/10)
