Snake abandons its meal, when disturbed. I was cycling with my Fatbike when suddenly I saw this. Every summer on my MTB adventures I spot several snakes, usually they are driven over and dead but this one I spotted alive. This happened in Laajakoski, near Kotka in Finland.
