BTC up and miners down, here is WHY. It has to do with open interest in options and also its correlation to the amount of their short position. They need the price to drop before they can start to exit their short positions but also it triggers stop loss orders as it drops which helps them as they exit the short position. They counter hedge positions with options contracts which they need to expire worthless or IN THE MONEY on this coming friday when options expire.

Reposted for clarity: When I said "they" in my comment below, its large hedge funds and institutional money. They can only manipulate it so much before their buying power is exhausted and the buyers start to step in and shorts get liquidated which means they are forced to BUY back the shares they borrowed as a short position. Its very temporary, stand fast, hang tight and learn to trade with ZERO EMOTIONS! Leave your emotions at the door!

Miners have run up quite a bit recently so not the time to freak out coz of a 10-20% correction. Stay strong and stay focussed. I have a good feeling that miners gonna pump hard when alt season starts come late December🤞

Love your channel guys!!! Doing a daily video is a great thing. I am in RIOT and IREN in a big way, bitcoin mining stocks are EXTREMELY volatile and high risk. If you invest in them folks, you need to be able to handle the swings to the up and downside. It really takes a strong conviction to stand fast. When you are not sure what to do then do nothing, that is where the BIG money is made, in the sitting, waiting and watching! Have an exit strategy, eventually sell INTO strength as the price rises and stay frosty my friends!

Bitcoin is up 40% from its 2021 highs, not one of the major miners have performed as well, most are still down 30-40% from their 2021 highs.
