Just visited the house in Majorca where he spent some time to try to recover his health after leaving Paris sadly he didn't regain his health there, but the museum to his memory is so beautiful and his room with his piano is such a peaceful and spiritual feeling the garden a little paradise of tranquility .

Dear Halidon Music and Friends

New Year Greetings for 2019 From Mumbai, India.

I was born and raised in Mumbai, India specially On the Masterworks of Chopin specifically his Polonaises, Waltzes, Preludes, and Mazurkas.

I still have Nostalgic Memories From The 1980's when I used to come home in the afternoon from an Iconic Jesuit School in a Suburb of Mumbai and My Mom used to make me listen to a selection of Chopin's Piano Works specially His Minute Waltz which is to die for.

This was broadcast by All India Radio in Mumbai, India on their Week Day Afternoon Concerts. That is how, from the age of 10 I grew to love all Genres of Classical Music and Romantic Classical Music. It all started with the Magnificent Piano Music Of Chopin and later extended to the Piano and Violin Masterworks of Beethoven, Mozart, and Haydn all broadcast by All India Radio From 1978 - 1986.

Sadly, this does not exist now and all that All India Radio broadcasts now is the most disgusting genre of Bollywood Hindi Music which obviously I cannot relate to.

I was trained to Play The Stradivarius Violin and hence I totally Dig Beethoven's Violin Sonatas and Mozart's Violin Sonatas as well as their respective Violin Concertos.

Since, I am Catholic I love Sacred Classical music a lot specially Gregorian Chant and most specially The Classy Sacred Masses of Biber and Palestrina specially his 1610 Vespers.

In the absence of All India Radio's Western Classical Music Concerts in Mumbai, India -- Halidon Music You Tube Channel is a breath of fresh Air in more ways than one.

However, Chopin and his Music will always be my First Love.
