Born in 1967 and I'll say this, give me 60's, 70's, and 80's, this new stuff you can keep to yourself. Those decades definitely stand the test of time, lots of today's kids like and want that music.

Music was hitting it's stride in 1976! Greatest songs of the 70s but getting better every year of the remaining 70s.

Frampton, Boston, Boz Skaggs. All of them bring back some great memories for me! Aerosmith too many to name. I graduated in 76 so there are plenty more songs Love is Alive by Gary Wright

I was in 1966, and grew up with both these songs, and the real Country music. But' i actually remember hearing a song from the Archie's, Sugar, Sugar.

I saw the Eagles in Tempe AZ in October 1976 when they played Hotel California publicly for the first time before the album was released. Unbelievable concert - they had to play three encores before the crowd would go home 😮

I was 21, and my name is MaryAnn, so "More Than a Feeling" was my song! I was trying to make a dramatic exit after breaking up with my boyfriend, only to be embarrassed by getting the strap of my purse caught on a bar stool, which yanked me back, and you guessed it -- this song was playing... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I like them all; I grew up in this era, year, decade, and yesteryear.. I was between 9-18 years ago when songs like these first came out on 45's, LPS(albums); 8-tracks; cassettes not to all mention reel-reel formats..

I remember the first time I heard more than a feeling on the radio and my thought was man who is this? This is one great song. I also remember getting the album to Hotel California and really just wearing it out, the guitar outro between Don Felder and Joe Walsh I had to play over and over and over because it was so good and it is still that good. My favorite version of that song is the acoustic version on the Hell freezes over album cause it really shows the true musicianship of not only Don Felder, but Joe Walsh as well.

Nothing compares to the music of 1976, the greatest year in music history. Even the not so good songs were great compared to everything since. To me, Boston's first album is one of the greatest of all time. More Than A Feeling is to me, the greatest rock song of all time. Period.

Born in 1957 and growing up with the music of the 60's and 70's this was most probably the beginning of the end. By 1980 music was depending too much on the electronics and forgetting what real talent could do. A lot of the talent was still making music, but the electronic technology was creating artificial talent. In other words the NEW talent wasn't natural and real.

It would be nice if classic rock stations realized Aerosmith recorded songs besides "Dream On".

I'm surprised that Aerosmith "Rocks" wasn't on there with Back In the Saddle? Or Led Zeppelin? They released 2 albums. Presence and The Song Remains the Same.
