Lordy knows I need my Stephen Colbert everyday just to get out of bed in the morning. I love his ability to push back and he has my full support.

It's funny how conservatives were so against LGBTQ rights back during the Obama presidency, but now, they're protesting against a homophobic joke made by a comedian (it wasn't even homophobic, to be honest).

Trump supporter's claim to be anti-PC yet when Stephen Colbert insults Trump they go all PC and demand that he gets fired.

"Its now very common to hear people say I'm rather offended by that." As if it gives them certain rights. It's no more than a whine. "I find that offensive." It has no meaning, it has no purpose, it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. "I'm offended by that. Well, so fucking what?
- Stephen Fry

I'm happy to see Colbert has no regrets saying what he said.

Why apologizing? He did not make fun of gays or insult them at all.

Who knew "Gosh" and "Lordy" would be in the news in 2017...

He doesn't need to apologize.  First off, he didn't say anything 'homophobic' (some of you need to learn what that actually means).   Lighten up people.  If someone on FOX called Obama something (which they have btw) I wouldn't be screaming for their heads, I would just call them and idiot and move on.  Why does every gawd damn thing have to be an issue.

Doing the Lord's work, Stephen Colbert is. When Trump is issuing executive orders that hurt so many people, an insult is necessary and the least of the things that president has coming. Priorities, people!
