God's Holy People would refer to both Jews (when Aqntiochus IV Epiphanes fulfilled Daniel's prophecy in detail minus one or two points) and later Christians when the antichrist persecutes us, Antiochus being a predecessor

because the mark is given out to those who worship the antichrist to show they have done so, and is either this number or his name or a symbol he will choose to be his symbol, some might think they can simply counterfeit the mark to deceive the antichrist's enforcers, but this would be taking the mark. The 42 months are not literal in prophecy a day represents a year read numbers chapter 14 and ezekiel 4 verse 6 this power is the roman catholic church this is the beast power because rome was the kingdom that succeded greece.also it says in daniel chaoter 7 verse 25 that the beast change times and law well we know that the catholic church change the sabbath from saturday to sunday in 321AD under constantine.

What is a "blasphemy" named in Rev 13 @ 9:42 here? Man can sin against the Son of Man (Jesus) and be forgiven but that does not include blaspheming the Christ. Why? The Christ is Holy Spirit. Ergo: Mk 3:28–30, Lk 12:10 - many people were, are and will be claiming, that those doing powers/miracles do them by the power of ha-satan.’ In other words, attributing Holy Spirit's [power] deeds/miracles to the devil; instead of the Almighty in nature (Creator=Father). That is blasphemy

This is a description of Rome and John knows its history. In Rev. 12 the dragon has 7 heads (city of 7 hills) and 10 horns, and 7 crowns on his head, the first 7 legendary kings of Rome. Rome comes up in the Mediterranean sea. The head wound happened in 390 bc. to the city of Rome. Rome was invaded by Gauls, and almost destroyed. This is part of Roman heritage. Rome only became more powerful, who can make war with the Roman principality? It blasphemes the God of the Jews, and the beast continued for 42 months, 3.5 years, time, times and half a time, the holocaust by Romans upon the Jews, the end of the kingdom of Israel, the scattering of the power of the holy people in 70 ad. Rome made war with the saints and overcame those who kept the commandments of God and the faith of Yeshua, during the Caesars, emperors of the Roman empire. Many were taken to the coliseum to be eaten by Lions and killed by gladiators. The known world worships Rome, their names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world. Another beast comes up out of the earth, from the Western Roman empire, the Eastern Roman empire.  Constantinople exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. The eastern Roman empire calls down holy fire from heaven in a cathedral built by Constantine in Jerusalem. They still do this on Easter every year. The people are deceived by their miracles. They make an image to the Roman principality called a Pope. This image ends up in Rome. The Roman principality gives life to the image and those who don't worship the image, are killed. Holy Roman empire. The people take a mark on the forehead from the right hand. The followers and those who administer the mark. People could not buy or sell in many areas of the Holy Roman empire, as to expose heretics. The heretics had their land taken and were imprisoned or killed. Here is wisdom, count the number of the Roman man principality, for it is the number of a man. . In Hebrew, the word Roman man equates to 666. Those who take the mark of Rome, take the name of Rome, or worship the image made to Rome, have an immediate death sentence upon the return of Yeshua.

You had said that the fatal wound could be a person. But in the bible doesnt it say the heads stand for countries and the crowns for rulers? Wouldnt the fatal wound be a place instead of person? Maybe im stating something backward...

Times, time and half a time IS NOT 3.5 years... total speculation by DANA. That idea was first presented by Aristotle... hundreds of years prior to the internet and the airplane, car, etc... The book of Daniel was sealed up until the time of the end when knowledge would increase, and man would travel to and fro. Aristotle used horseback as did those in the time of Daniel... the book was still sealed when Aristotle presented the 3.5 year idea. But as Dana likes to do... speculation builds GREAT building blocks for doctrines that leads people to look in a false direction. Time.... is a 1000 years.... The segment is 2500 years... 2500 years after Daniel first stated "times time and half a time" was 1948 when Israel became a nation... the second was 1967 with the 6 day war.
