Was raised to be polite but watched family and people and saw they were mainly just kind, too. I chose my profession to help others be successful. I found most important was kind regard towards others. It was something I modeled but most important taught it’s value making others understand the power it has for others and for your own self-concept and that of the “society” in which you live. I feel this sounds sanctimonious and don’t want that. When I hear the hate, put-downs, bully comments, out-right attacks by lying it’s scary for the future. Then I think about the majority of people who are trying everyday to live a life helping others, giving their own time in jobs these bullies are attacking, people being normally exceptional, standing against the mean, evil, self-serving. Most people are going about their daily lives working to improve the lives of families, friends, relatives, strangers. I thank God for all the millions standing toe to toe against those self-serving dangerous people. Many places the Good are winning though you’d not know that listening to the bullies. Change is happening that scares them because it changes their status quo. They’ve had lots of attention and money being a bully. Take that away or threaten it and their screaming lies and attention seeking triples. There are tried and true ways to stop them or at least negate their impact on the general population but their headlock on all the mainstream TV is a huge help for their plans.

Even with a shitty job (fast food retail customer service) you can give kindness. And depending on where you are the people you see are some of the ones who need it most. I have 2 customers who told me I’m the only smile they ever see, you have no idea who’s day or life even you’re making better

As long as there is balance. When we are constantly loving it doesn’t always mean love will be returned. By many it is seen as a weakness and I have been the recipient of those judgements/treatment due to my constant love towards others.

If you don't understand what Teal is saying you chose the wrong people to love. You're not a prisoner, you can walk away from ANY situation, including FAMILY. Walking away is step ONE of loving and caring for yourself with those who do not want the best for you.
