I live within walking distance of this house. I am happy to see that it will be used as a wedding venue. Excellent use for the house and grounds.

The grand hall has to be my favorite. It's so elegant with all the gold details. The wall color just makes them pop. It's not too busy either.

Hands-down one of the most beautiful private residences to survive into the modern day. One could easily be fooled into thinking that this home is on the shores of Lake Como; it has such a faithful representation, particularly in its interiors, to Italian ornament and design of the era, but with that unmistakably American amplitude and expansiveness.

I’ve seen pictures of this house for years, it’s on of my favorites. It’s one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. I love the detailed craftsmanship.

Very reminiscent of the mansions in Newport RI. We toured The Elms, Marble House & The Breakers. They were all breathtaking. The Breakers at almost 25, 000 sq feet was referred to as their summer cottage. Even if I had the money, I could not live like that. Just give me a wonderful old, Greene and Greene designed house.

Wow, so nice to see it maintained well to its original form, my favourite part is it's winding spiral staircase, and entrance grill works, great work @this house, waiting for the next video, all the very best from your sincere subscriber

A Trumbauer 'tour d'force' but on a far more livable scale than Linwood Hall. It's grand without being grandiose, (if that makes any sense?) and the rooms shown from the period seem to indicate it was furnished comfortably. The period photo of the dining room showed a more intimate arrangement than I would normally see in a gilded age palace.

Thanks for this one, Ken. Very interesting and also very nice to see a house like this still generally intact!

This is truly grand. It is a shame that an individual couldn’t have purchased it to make it again a home.

That house is well worth a visit. I like the tile roof and rugged construction.

I want a house with gargoyles! Love the side entrance. Glad it's saved. Upkeep must be a fortune.

stunning architectural and interior details! Nice to see it open as a museum, but really a wedding venue is ok too, to keep it going!
