The Best of the Barcelona 1992 Opening Ceremony

The ceremony took place on 25 July in the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. The Olympic flame cauldron was lit by a flaming arrow.

Getting emotional wow... 25 years have passed, and Barcelona is even prettier than it was before. I have such a special affection to my city. And Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé are amazing. They gave a very magical touch to the Games.

Did you know Spain had won medals in their home Olympic soil that was memorable for Spanish Olympic Fans. 1992 was memorable games for Spain and their athletes. @Olympics that included Spain Men's National Football Team.
