So, about Dayz:
I started playing this game in 2014, it was 0.37 as far as I remember, maybe I'm wrong. One thing I do remember is that this game was super hardcore ! My first death was getting lost in the woods, second death was rotten kiwi, third death getting shot in electro (almost get a heart attack then ;p) and so on. My first kill was after TWO WEEKS of playing, in Elektrozavodsk in school building (I remember it as it was yesterday) What other game makes You remember Your first kill ?
I bet none ! Thats how dayz worked, I had difficulties saying "hello, are Yoy friendly" not because english is not my native language but because I was so stressed it hardly came through my mought ! I remember zombies going through building, I remember ladders killing players and getting broken legs and begging for death or morphine injector.
But my most beloved times was when they introduced BOW and ARROWS !!! I miss bow sooo much, best weapon against zombies, I spend more than thousand hours shooting bow because it was so easy to craft, before they changed the engine I was able to hit a player (not moving one) at 200 meters !
I won a few firefights using bow and I was so eager to see how Bohemia Interactive will make bow shooting on a new engine...
well, I dont belive anymore that they will do it in the near future...
3 THINGS I miss in dayz are:
#1 BOW AND ARROWS
#2 BROKEN LEGS AND ARMS
#3 REALISTIC DAMAGE SYSTEM (like getting shot and fainting from pain)
Dayz is no DAYZ anymore, its different game
Ow and I have 3558 hours currently, I met over 100 people that I added on steam and I killed more than I can count, I had many hostages, few of them I kept for 1-2 hours just because of broken legs mechanics, and I know few thing about this game...
