Back in the Classroom | Monday, March 29th 2021

Since 2020 was the year that it was, I thought it would be interesting to capture what day to day life is like for me as we collectively try to return to some sense of normalcy in the year 2021. This vlog captures just an ordinary day of my life in a year that I hope brings back all the things I took for granted before. I hope you enjoy and I hope to see you tomorrow!

We’re on spring break, but hybrid starts April 5th.

Yesterday was my first day back in the building as well. Schoology was down most of the day so we couldn't have live classes. I spent that time prepping and catching up with co-workers. Thanks for being an inspiration.

Been teaching in-person with some students live streaming since August. What a year! Your hair is fantastic though be careful with rubber bands, they can take your hair out. If that happens, try using silk ribbons instead. Glad you had a good first day!

If I'm thinking right, the pink Himalayan salt is supposed to have natural minerals in it. Other than that, yeah it's still salt.

I've been teaching my students in-person since August since Florida is the WORST and acknowledged the pandemic

Our 7th graders go back April 8. I teach 6th and they don’t go back until April 15.

I teach in Northern California and we start in class learning with DL students on Zoom April 8th. Although there will be a readjustment period, I look forward to getting back on campus with students and staff.
