Mammootty's first look from Rorschach took the internet by storm. But what is Rorschach? It is a projective psychological test in which subjects' perceptions of inkblots are recorded and then analyzed using psychological interpretation. A similar concept had been used in the fictional antihero, Rorschach in the graphic novel Watchmen, published by DC Comics in 1986. Though his chosen mask implies a kind of radical subjectiveness - punishment and retribution are twin pillars of Rorschach’s sense of justice. Rorschach sees his job as bringing bad men of the world to justice.
