From the finalization of the Carbon Removal Certification Framework in the European Union to the ever-expanding series of pilot programs and legislation being considered in the United States, CDR policy is advancing at a record pace, and it can be hard to keep track of what’s new, what’s changed and what’s next.

In this shifting landscape, we have brought together top CDR policy experts from around the world, including Carbonfuture’s own Sebastian Manhart, to talk through his updated Buyer’s Guide to CDR Policy. The 2024 edition has been expanded to cover not just the latest happenings in the United States and European Union, but also to take a deep dive into three critical incubators for carbon removal policy: Germany, Denmark, and the state of California.
