do the sensors clipped to the coils tend to go bad? or is it always the coils going bad? having issues with my 07 dodge dakota feels like the transmission jerks when coming to a stop. ran into some vids saying it can be a misfire but also a whole lot of other things. so im trying to do one thing at a time.

Shouldn't u discount the battery when u do anything like that just in case

Wow! I wish my coil packs came out that easy!! First one I tried, it was stuck.. tried another one.. it was stuck until 90% of the coil pack came out.. then it was easy. Now I need to figure out how to remove half the rubber cover over the sparkplug insulator.. down in a very small hole.

What if the nut holding the ignition coil in place is seized, and when I turn it left to loosen, the nut doesn't come loose but the entire mounting rod(?) is coming up?
