They really didn't make a very good ultron. I wanted him to be more robotic, and more bad ass. Instead he was just a really confusing character. He wasn't scary and he never felt like a real threat

He described the movie perfectly at the beginning. It’s good, not great, its fine, not amazing, if it’s on I’ll watch it

One of the reasons the first movie was such a hit is because it was the first time we saw them together, it was a culmination of all the movies that had been leading up to that moment, and make us remember our chilhood. Going to the second movie, that factor was lost, they didn't have that luxury on their side, and sadly they played on the same bits and thropes hoping for the same result. I think is a good and fun movie anyway (for Marvel standars).

Civil War, Ragnarok, Infinity War (And to an extent, Black Panther) arguably made Age of Ultron a better movie. I mean, those meaningless foreshadowings were actually justified after the events of those movies, especially Tony's "seeing my friends' death" arc, Cap-Iron Man's relationship breakdown, and Thor's Ragnarok event.
