The Dana 30 isn't known for its strength, but if you have a low pinion or high pinion Dana 30 and are wanting to strengthen that front end and inner Cs Stay tuned because this is the upgrade for you. This truss kit is made out of 3/16' steel and which makes it lighter and stronger. It will replace your passenger upper control arm mount and comes with poly bushings. I also modify the back end of the spring perches for additional droop and lower control arm clearance and weld in some shock mount bar pin eliminators. enjoy the video and thanks for watching. 🍻🍻

Nickle based rods are for steel to cast iron. The tubes and C's are made of cast steel so no need for preheat. Only the center section is made of cast iron. Nice work 👍

You're so patient! I can't even attempt to video tedious work like that, it takes all of my patience just to do the work. The MJ still needs gears in a bad way, but i'm having a real tough tome committing to it.

Dude that looks awesome. I don't know if I personally would do all that for D30 rather than a swap but it does look great well done.

Nice series. I, for one, would like to see set up bearing process. More detail the better in my view. If people don't want to see that they can skip forward.

Hey Dustin, great video, thanks for posting! Quick procedural question. You didn't weld the inside of some of your welds, specifically the "C" reinforcements. Any particular reason for that? Keep the great videos coming!

Looking for your opinion- is there any point in doing this to a low pinion Dana-30 or if I’m going to do it, should I do it right and find a high pinion?
