VW Volkswagen Apple CarPlay USB Port Difference To Allow CarPlay.
The purple USB port will not allow CarPlay communication just charging.
The green one is specifically for CarPlay.
Part number 5Q0 035 726 E
When changing shave the tooth off on the purple wired connector to allow for the green port to fit.
Usually when you get a fault code U11B800.

My cable only has the round connector (4 pin) not the square ‘undercarriage’ with 2 pins.. i do have CarPlay but in the armrest. Would a different cable fit my head unit? 😓
