In Milan or Bologna a glass of wine is AT LEAST 7-8€!! Let’s be honest - 1.10 is only in Veneto! Love you guys xx

Diesel is less expensive because it's less refined.

€13 is a lot for movie tickets. I suppose if you're going to a big multiplex that's what the price is, but in small local theaters, it's around €5-7

Prices will vary based off the state/city you live in. I live in a top 20 metro; I just checked and an adult ticket for a new release near me on a Friday evening is $14. I would usually go Saturday morning or early afternoon as it’s way cheaper around $8.
I don’t take Uber so can’t say.
Teeth cleaning not sure as I have insurance that covers it.
Cocktails, yes, $12+. Beers or a glass of wine is about $6-8. There are options to go much higher though if you want.
& $3/gallon for Gas is about right. Costco had it last week for 2.83 which was nice.

I think it depends where in US or Italy. Here in Los Angeles, there was a period last year gas was around 6 USD/ gallon where I am east of downtown and if you are there in downtown it's about 7.
Same thing with movie tickets. Same with movie tickets, 15 here in suburban and more 18 to 25 in downtown depending on what kind of theatre too.

Cleanings are free with insurance, and if you don't have coverage, then buy a Groupon. I live in San Diego and I paid $49 for a cleaning with x-rays. Pretty cheap.

13 euros is unheard of. The most I've EVER spent for a movie ticket in my whole life in Italy is €11, 40. And that was a special event price for a Netflix movie release. They usually range from 6 euros up to 10 depending on the day and type of movie. Even special event movies hardly ever cross the 10 euro mark, even at big multiplex cinemas.

For YEARS, diesel was a lot cheaper than regular then unleaded. Now it is all unleaded. I always wondered why diesel was cheaper because all truckers had to buy it, and the tank is a lot larger.
They finally got smart and raised the price!

Also another video this could lead in to, I’m super curious about Italian movie theaters! Is popcorn the go-to? Do y’all have slushies? We can drink in theaters now, but that’s still relatively new and not for every theater.
Would be an awesome vid!

In my part of the United States, ticket prices are from $8.50 to $13.50.

Try Canada, prices here are astronomical in EVERY sector.
As an aside, don't forget the Euro conversion rate.

I would say a movie ticket and a glass of wine cost way more than that in the vast majority of Italian cities. I've never paid 1.10 for a glass of wine, not even Tavernello

Thanks for being informative about the differences between Italy and America !!

Diesel used to always be way cheaper in Canada. But Gas was down for awhile, Diesel was up. Yesterday we went to the Indigenous reserve 35 minutes away where gas is usually 10 or 15 cents a litre cheaper and it was. Surprise, Diesel was 10 cents a litre cheaper than it. My old friend always bought a humungous bottle of Italian wine here in Ontario Canada for 16 dollars Canadian. Our dollar is worth less than 75cents US dollar. Now our good Niagara Falls wine or ice wine in the regular size costs double. Other European wines are also close to $30 Canadian. I thought she was buying the bottom of the barrel wine, magnum Italian for $16 lol

Movie ticket in Utah is about 10 to 12 dollars. Depends on the state.

Gas around Chicago, Illinois: closer to highway entrances and city-city can be $5+. Sometimes you can find a lucky $3.50 as you head towards the suburbs but be wary of gas mixed with water 😅

The salaries are different too. Median salary in Italy is close to 2k a month.

Where in Italy does a movie ticket cost 13 euros?? I pay it 7 or 8, never paid that much for cinema neither in Roma nor in Sicilia! And for wine glasses that's too low! A glass of a Sicilian wine costs at least 5 euros!

In 🇮🇹 salaries are quite low, hence the lower prices. Please compare how much a teacher, a waiter, a truck driver or a shop employee make, in comparison. Last time I was in 🇮🇹, I looked at job openings and was shocked at the low salaries.

I live in upstate NY. Movie tickets for an adult is $11 per person (less for veterans)
