Hi, I'm Ashni!! I've been on #Twitch since 2013 and because of my amazing friends, I went full-time in 2015. I was terrible at it. And one day my sponsor called me on Skype and said: "There will be a lot of people who make it on Twitch, but it will never be you." So I stopped and learned as much as I could. Now I make content to help other streamers pursue their dreams and learn to stream, because he was right. There will be a lot of people who make it. And I'm going to help them.

What I'm struggling the most these days is to define what's the most important to me. Is it my Youtube channel that talks about Japan, is it the other channel about Youtube growth, is it Twitch? I think my branding (or lack there of) is really confusing, I try too many things at once but at the same time I love every single thing I do, so I don't want to stop any of it. Don't know how I can get out of this :/

I tried collabing with someone in your community that I was genuinely loving and felt welcomed by, he hung out in my streams and we had amazing conversations... he just brushed me off when I asked, it makes me feel like there are so many fake people its hard to find the genuine ones that dont think you're using them or using you.

Ashnichrist firmly shows the representation of PRIMAL BRANDING! These develop true fans that would cut there arm off to SEE you! And I’m one her true fans! PROUDLY! There is a reason I even put her blog link in my instagram for a time.

The creation story: being told by her financial supporter she would never make it on twitch but others would. She was depressed and went into a shutdown. She was sick of it and decided to work out. She decided to stop listening to music and listen to her first podcast (smart passive income) and her world changed completely. She kept learning and wanted to share these secrets for streamers.

Creed/beliefs (what you stand for and what you don’t stand for): she firmly states her beliefs on stream and in her content. She believes everyone should pursue their dreams and also they should express their vulnerability through their content. And believe in supporting others before you get what you want and much more. She doesn’t stand for misogyny racism and ways that is less inclusive to viewers.

Icons: Yam daddy waved a yam by her head when she was doing a channel review and people in chat said but she didn’t see it. They said we should call ourselves the yam fam. Then seconds later, everyone in chat opened up (believe or not, I was the first one to) and this shows the yam fam is all about vulnerability and sharing our deepest darkest experiences in the streaming world. And her iconic song in her youtube vids too.

Sacred words: she says many words that exclusive to our community. Like yam fam and “I yam streaming”. It’s keeps us more closely knit and almost like a cult, but a good one.

Nonbelievers: her recent backlash to stream coaching since its very alien but it’s the future for streamers. Ashni pushed through the hate and even people thinking what she says for twitch streamers is so alien and different but it’s impactful. “Different is better then better”.

The leader: who is Ashnichrist herself, her story, her content, her beliefs, her whole vision of not just streaming but the world is so grand and amazing and she saved my life from so much ived endured.

Thank you Ashni! You impacted me in such a big way that I created an even bigger mission. “Find your place the writing space” I help writers stand in their truth and share their writing and story to the world, since I struggled with my truth. I copied others, wore a mask, feared failure and even success, wanted to impress others, etc. But realize who I am is enough. My story is. Not just value and tips and tricks. I wanted to just bring writing to twitch and bring more people to my twitch space, but I think even bigger. When I decided to make videos because you I realized I just wanna help writers! I’m obsessed with seeing them SUCCEED and not struggle like I did. I wanna transcend them in every content platform. Cause storytelling is the kid next door in content creation now and writing does that amazingly now so thank you! When we read, we create our own imaginations and videos and podcasts and even streams in our head that only writing can really do. I believe that writing is the future for content creation, because storytelling is so hot right now.

Great video Ashni. Very informative :) Do you have any advice/tips on Applying for Twitch Partnership? I've been streaming for 3 months solid and have met all the criteria to apply for partnership... But I am putting it off as I'm scared of being rejected so early into my twitch timeline :( I right not to apply or do I just bite the bullet and hope for the best?

Dont do anything, just show strong competitve CSGO, and some LOTRO with soundtrack only chillout gameplay. I have after my second stream now over 444 clicks and 13 followers, now im doing some chat bot and try with maxy doing my stream more enjoyable! Thanks for all your tips!
