You can tell he's an awesome person and teacher, just by observation - "thank you, custodian" written on the blackboard, also underneath some sort of joke referencing failing that ends in "just kidding", not to mention the piles of free stuff on the shelves. This is somebody that cares. I was lucky to have a handful of teachers like this in school and I will never forget them and their contagious passion for the subjects they taught.
