2021 Solar Campaign Kickoff
Показать описание
February 4, 2021- Kickoff event for 2021 Solar Campaign
During the 2019 Arkansas legislative session, your advocacy helped pass the Solar Access Act (Act 464). In Governor Asa Hutchinson's words, the Solar Access Act made Arkansas "open for business" for solar, catalyzing dramatic growth in our state for one of the nation's fastest growing industries. In just a few years, Arkansas has jumped from 43rd to 25th in the nation in solar energy.
With the 2021 legislative session ongoing, it is clear we need your help again to protect solar energy in Arkansas. Utility companies have been pushing to undermine the rights of consumers – homeowners, small businesses, schools, and churches – to generate their own clean power. The hard fought progress we have made is at risk. We are calling on members of the legislature and Governor Hutchinson to protect the Solar Access Act from any and all efforts to rollback or repeal it this session.
