•question1
True or false
1. True or Crystalloidal Solutions:The size of solute particles is less than 1nm. ( √ )
2. colloidal Solutions:The size of solute particles is between 1-200nm ( √ )
3. Suspensions:The size of solute particles is more than (200nm (( √ )
question2
Types of Solutions ?
the answer
1-True or Crystalloidal Solutions:
The size of solute particles is less than 1nm.
They can pass through both filter paper and cellophane paper.Example:-Nacl and sugar solutions in water.
2-colloidal Solutions:
The size of solute particles is between 1-200nm They can pass through filter paper but not through cellphane paper.
Example:-starch and protien solutions in water.
3- Suspensions:
The size of solute particles is more than (200nm)
and they are unstable as they precipitate spontaneously they cannot pass through filter paper or cellophane
Example:- Charcoal suspension in water.
