I've found that a denim patch sewn in does better than the darning method. Darning tends to leave a rough and irritating spot rather than the smoother feel of a patch with more limited stitch work.

Wow, ever worn the jeans after you did this? This is not how to fix jeans. I've seen worse but do better. I always love how slow they go in the vid. I hope they're faster in real life.
