a song about being happier 💛

Here’s a little something I was working on today about feeling happier and trying to reflect that in my songwriting.

Like many others, I’ve used songwriting as a therapeutic tool to process my emotions and better understand myself or situations.

Over time, I found myself solely writing about mishaps.

While there’s nothing inherently wrong with these kind of songs, I felt it was important to create and share a positive one that genuinely portrays my current happiness.

I also hope it can serve as a reminder to safeguard your own happiness and prioritise yourself.

ps: I still love writing a tearjerker and there are certainly more to come, but it’s good to switch it up sometimes xx
