Not sure if you still monitor comments from these videos, but really appreciate that you made these! I just had surgery on my rotator cuff and re-attaching the long head bicep tendon. And I too want to recover back to snatches, muscle ups, etc. These videos have been both a helpful resource and inspiring!

Had my RCR surgery this pass Monday, pain was intense after nerve block worn out. First couple of days was very challenging, no sleep or any way to find comfort. 3rd today, seems like the intense pain has subsided, going to try and wing myself of the opioids. Still have a long journey ahead but I’m
hoping the worst part of this whole experience is over.

I had this done two months ago. Everything was ripped apart inside. They placed 8 different anchors in the shoulder with all the strings to sew it back together. Finally lost the half a straight jacket sling. That drove me nuts wearing that. Pain was not to bad. I mean there and no escaping it. But two knee replacements a nd a knee revision and two metal braces in the neck on the spine and a bone replaced in the left hand with a tendon out of my arm. So the pain thing I am a little used to…. Kind of. To many years of sports, kickboxing and being law enforcement. Roadside fights with stops early in the mornings. That’s pretty typical. But retired finally. Yipee. I hope you continue to do well. Keep up your therapy.

At day 5 after surgery you're doing external rotations. Is that active or passive rotations. The only thing I was told to do( I'm at day 10) was to take my arm out of the sling 3-5 times a day, bend my arm at the elbow several times and then bend at the waist and do 10-20 pendulum swing rotations(passive) in each direction . I won't have PT untill week 3. Thanks for posting

I’m 4 days post surgery and am overall doing well. As far as being able to straighten my arm? Not able to tolerate that as of yet.

My 60 year old mother just had this done on friday, shes been doing good but they told her it could take up to 6-8 months to even begin doing her normal tasks again like driving and cooking, whats your opinion on this ? How long did it take to be able to do your normal day to day things again ?
