Still having touch responsive issue

Update : After 18.2.1 it seems to be completely fixed for me

I started to notice the touch response issue the last few days. I assumed it was due to my screen protector. I have a 16 Pro Max. I’m on iOS 18.1.1

I don’t think the photo app has been getting heat “out of nowhere” the consensus is that it’s a total mess and way harder to navigate than before.

1:12 photos app is so much more fluid and smooth especially after customizing and having everything on the single page. Way better for my adhd ass

I haven’t installed the 18.2 on my iPhone but I gave it a try on my iPad 10 Gen have to say the RC is running smoothly and great I will wait for the official release on Monday then I’ll just update on my phone

What I would love from Photos would be the ability to find/delete image files _below_ and smaller than a given size.

16P with RC runs very well with great battery life

They should’ve added a setting to go back to the old photos app layout or something cause I still hate it a month later. Doesn’t feel intuitive and like it’s adding extra steps
