5:26 Quick correction! Yes, muslims do believe in the resurrection of Prophet Isa i.e. Jesus. But, he wont return to the world as a prophet, rather he would return as a follower of Muhammad before the day of Qiyamah or the dooms day to bring the people to the right path again.

I saw recently where there is a school system in New Jersey where some parents are protesting that the students are being taught the basics of Islam. They should understand that there is a difference between being taught about an ideology, as compared to being indoctrinated into that ideology. So schools should teach the basics of the world's various religions. A supplemental course might be to analyze the problems and benefits these ideologies place on the various cultures of the world.

I think it is pretty weird, how people let their enraged emotions get in the way of gaining more knowledge and understanding foreign things. I am an Atheist for example, but i find this topic interesting and i'd like to understand it better (without wanting to join), but everyone is just bashing everything instead of having an intelligent discussion :<

Sad that people are so closed minded they can so adamantly reject education. Regardless of your beliefs, Islam had a important role in the intellectual development of our species, if you want to understand the evolution of thought you need to have some knowledge of Islam.

Could you please make a playlist of this topic? Your videos are all scattered and I'd love to watch them in order. Please and thanks.

Great Introductory video!!

Just one more thing:

Muslims believe that the Torah, Psalms and Gospels were revealed as words from God but over the course of many many years there have been many in those texts. So we don't know what to consider an actual word of God and what not. On the other hand the Quran, we believe, is 100% word of God with no human intervention.

That's why we don't follow the other books.

I'd just like to add some clarification:
1. Makkah is only viewed as a symbolic "house of god". Just as any other mosque in any other place is viewed as a "house of god". Muslims do not believe that God literally resides in these places.

2. Presence of two witnesses is not a necessary condition for a person converting to Islaam. Islaam is a covenant between a man and God, intervention of a mediator in this relationship isn't necessary at all.

3. "There is not god but god" isn't a good translation of the testimony of faith. It is better translated as "There is no deity worthy of worship except Allaah".

Simple and straight path seems to be: One and only One Creator/sustainer of the universe. He makes His business to provide guidance and values for mankind to live by. A guidance free of superstition, which provides a way to implement social welfare, equality [degree of status for humans should be based on piety and good behavior], justice, compassion, tolerance and accountability both in this and the world hereafter. It is easy to believe that guidance for mankind was provided by choosing Messengers from humans who received Revelation and passed it on by having it documented and by exemplary behavior. Instead of us defining what God Almighty is, let Him tell us.
