This is unironically the first time of ever listened to Nick speak and get the feeling he's being completely genuine, and it's also the first time I've heard him speak where it made me respect him.

“Every time I leave my moms house, I leave in tears” damn bro. My grandma is the sweetest lady to me and I love her very much but she has that exact type of relationship with my father for some reason. They just can’t be near each other or someone starts crying.

My best friend had the same issue. Her grandma kicked her out, her mom didn’t try to stand up for her, so now she’s doing her own thing in a place she shares with three other roommates. It’s tough but she’s infinitely happier.

I personally hate that "your gonna miss them when their gone" mentality. HE didn't damage the relationship, she did and she continues to be the mental child instead of choosing to become a better person. Him sending flowers on mothers day was an olive branch an she responded with hate. HEALTHY relationships are two way streets and if someone isn't meeting you half-way and instead mentally draining you, bringing nothing but pain and tears, its better to cut them out. You cant grow as a person if you allow toxic people to poison you, in the end when she's on that 11th hour an he's not there. thats on her and if she still can hold herself accountable then shes gonna have to answer to a higher power.

At 20, I became the secondary breadwinner in my parents house. Not making a lot, but my mom lost her job. I helped my parents keep their house for 3 years, helped her get back on her feet.

I caught her trashing talking me, to her bff, about my little I gave her. I gave her everything. She ran my finances and gave me an allowance of my money. I saved up and moved out 3 months later. Things haven't really been the same with us since. I love my mom, but she doesn't love me.

So sorry to hear that man. Your outlook is crazy positive. I hope your friends and Malena help remind you that you’re great and deserve that love. Wishing you the best brobro

I find this version of Nick refreshing, extremely real, no joking around and straight to the point.

This gym arc is going well.

Edit: Are people really complaining about me saying "Arc"? Nixxas so sensitive these days that I can't compliment someone.

I really respect this side of Nick. Helps me really appreciate his goofy side more because after all of that pain he still puts smiles on peoples faces

Nick is actually a good dude. His mom sent him on his Hero’s Journey. He nailed the assignment.

Watching the chat while he told this story made me feel sick. There's a whole lot of people who clearly grew up in loving homes who cannot wrap their heads around the fact that it's better to have no mother than an abusive one. That's great for them, but when they say shit like "You'll regret it when she's gone" or "You should talk to her for closure" or "She's still your mother, and you only have one mother", all the rage I bottled up growing up with the mother I had comes to a rolling boil.

Bro I actually relate and enjoy this this side of Nick. It’s wild how he’s ALWAYS in character. It’s a great way to farm clips constantly but this is nice too. Just goes to show when you have it you have it.

My mom kicked me out in my sophomore year of high school and said I would fail and not graduate, shout out my grandma for taking me in and being there for my graduation. 🙏🏾

I knew bits and pieces from the story but never heard the whole thing. It's nice seeing you being more serious instead of PogO as well. I never knew what you went through and I am terribly sorry for it. For me, family is one of those things I could not live without. You are an inspiration to every young man out there. Gladiator shit right there

I don't watch as often as I used to but man, it's great growing old with the people you watch because who the f would've expected this mature and serious conversation with Nick during the wow arena days with Chance LOL

Thanks for talking about this. I’ve been going through some really difficult stuff for the past 6 years. Was feeling really lost when I found this clip. Gave me some hope for my own situation.

My mom was very similar, so I am sorry to hear that. Crazy enough in my 20s, she realized the only reason I wanted nothing to do with her anymore was because of her actions and did change significantly. She isn't great but much more understanding and genuinely tries, which means a lot. Doesn't seem like this is the case for Nick or most of these situations. Nick seems much stronger than he let's on, I guess that's part of a character.
