Shifting Perspectives: The Role of Talent Management in Immigrant Integration

Περίληψη (Abstract)
In an era characterized by significant global migration, the economic value of immigrants’ contribution and their incorporation to the domestic product generation remains a pressing challenge. This makes it difficult for them to become an equal member of local communities. The paper provides an insight into the existing literature, aiming to unveil the novelty of the subject along with its scientific value regarding talent management related to refugees.
Bibliometric analysis was employed as a means to study the existing literature from 2018 to 2023 across academic databases. The main findings of the study derived with the use of distinct categorization criteria are the crucial role of talent management in a country’s economic growth as well as lack of research in the promising field of talent management in migration.
This innovative research underscores the practical and scientific value of investigations on talent management within migration, the need for potential related studies while to the best of the author's knowledge, this paper is the first attempt to analyze the gap in the scientific field of migration talent management.
