How We Built Our Dinette Seating & Mobile Office Space | Van Conversion Ep. 8

In this episode of the van renovation we build our new space saving seating area with flip-up backs. Working on the road whilst travelling means we NEED a decent office setup that's both comfortable and practical for long workdays sitting at our laptops. But our slide-out bed solution causes us a few issues when it comes to fitting ergonomic seats underneath the extension. SPOILER - THEY'RE TINY! In the end we had to get creative!

Who are we?
Hello, we're Courts & Meeks and we live full-time in our self-converted 2012 Mercedes Sprinter van called DeeDee with our Spanish rescue dog Sally Sausage. In March 2018, we purchased DeeDee and spent the next 18 months slowly converting her into our dream tiny home on wheels, whilst working full-time jobs. Since January 2020 we have been working remotely part-time from the van whilst travelling Europe, and we're now back in the UK ripping out our interior and renovating our van.
