One of the main differences between Mormonism and Biblical Christianity is the belief in faith and works and how these two correspond with one another. While these differences are present, remember to still proclaim the gospel truth in love, make sure you're on the same page with terminology, and remember you don't have to be an expert to witness.

I find often there is this double speak of we are justified by Jesus but also to get to Heavenly Father we gotta be sealed in the temple. It’s interesting because it’s like they almost know it’s off but can’t quiet put down what their church teaches them.

I had one Mormon/LDS person say that grace and works are a ‘chicken and egg’ situation and it doesn’t matter which comes first because they go together.

‭James 2:14-20, 24 NKJV‬
[14] What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?
[15] If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,
[16] and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled, ” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?
Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
[18] But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
[19] You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!
[20] But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

Eph 2:8-10 gospel is not a James 2:19 gospel, but also not a Gal 1:6-9 gospel either.
