They are a crossover team that challenges all genres!! _And to answer your question, since the comments already have some info, the other thing is that Forestella's fandom name is "숲별", some of them received classical training, and they all won individually on a show called Phantom Singer and then formed a team!!. ᆢ

Hi from Colombia💛💙❤ and Welcome to the best crossover group all over the world, #FORESTELLA. They have a lot of amazing covers and original songs (videos). My favorite covers are: Time in a Bottle, Legends Never Die, Je suis Malade. I love all their originals so I just gonna tell you the order (you need to see those videos because are like movies): 1) Save our lives, 2) Utopia 3) Kool 4) Snow Glove and 5) Chagall's Dreams (The last song they sang as a quartet because the bass, WooRim, has been serving in the military for a year and he still has a few months to go before he returns). To finish, they also sang several songs as a trio while WooRim returns, they sang: Show must go on, Piano Man, among others.

This is my info text about Forestella I always post under the first-time-ever reaction. If you're reading it, that means I subscribed.
Forestella is a crossover group from Korea. They were grouped through Phantom Singer 2; an audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea and they won it. However, as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world!
Hence Forestella has sung great covers in various TV shows, better filter on the video to avoid copyright block if you react.
Forestella dared to cover the songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hijo de la Luna, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed.
You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! If you are a LOL fan, check their Warriors and Legends Never Die!
And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Check their magnificent performances of Bad Romance and Lazenca Save us, Unwritten Legend and Despacito too.

Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (a classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (an ex-petrochemical research engineer, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (a classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (a musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. In a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Bae DooHoon also said they don't meet 1~2 days in a month. I think this explains how their perfection can be possible.
Don't miss their m/v for Save our lives! It's full of wonders. Each of them is representing an element in the m/v. They sang Fake Love of BTS and their song Save our lives at MAMA. Their majestic original song Utopia is a must-check.
Now I see they are creating a genre called Forestella. They showed "What crossover is" with Save our lives and showing "What Forestella does" with Utopia! Enjoy their diversity with their original song White Night too.

Forestella released their single KOOL in Kpop style to fulfill their promise of Kpop cover dance for exceeding 990K views of Save our lives m/v. They struggled to choose a Kpop to dance, became to think making their own Kpop song with dance! As crossover works for all genres, Forestella did a great job for their fans.

Forestella released fantastic original Snow Globe m/v! Kang HyungHo composed it, and all the Forestella members contributed in arranging it.

As the latest, Forestella sang Stuck in a Maze as a quartet. Don't miss it!
Nowadays just 3 of them are active as trio because their bass Ko WooRim had to enlist for his national duty till 2025 May. I think The Show Must Go On in trio is their statement to keep singing even while waiting for their bass.
Recently they sang Piano Man with the bass voice as a backing track. Feels like they are still together in the music.

As you saw, Ko WooRim singing in French is a killer indeed. You'll love their version of Je suis malade singing in French and Ko WooRim's solo performance of les Feuilles Mortes in his official channel.
However, you should watch their version of Shape of you in English, Spanish and African Zulu! Believe me, you'll love it!

Haha I discovered Forestella via this performance too. I saw Woorim's intro on Instagram & I immediately had to find out who that amazing voice belonged to. And the rest of the guys are just as incredible vocalists. Kang Hyung Ho (the high voice - also called Pitta) has some really great music too.

Fandom name is SoopByeol (forest star) and 2 of them are classically trained opera singers (Ko Woorim is a basso profundo, the rarest of all male voices) and their usual lineup onscreen from left to right is Woorim, then Kang Hyungxho (a countertenor who also is a rocker, no formal training) then leader of the group, Cho Mingyu a classically trained leggero tenor and finally, far rifgt on screen, Bae Doohoon, a musical theater veteran. Doohoon is the oldest member while Woorim is, believe it or not, the youngest! Also, he isn't just "married" but married to Yuna Kim, the Queen of Korean ice skaters! She is a rzetired Olympian with many awards and a firtune too! She is 5 years older than Woorim but I'm sure she was thinking (just as you guys mentioned) "Who would leave this man on the market?" LOL! He is currently serving the rest of his mandatory military service and will be reunited with his members in about 8 months now. The other 3 are done with their service.
