If samsung said integrating the spen, it means the phone needs to be slightly bulkier. I'd rather take the integrated spen over reduction in thickness or atleast put the oversized toothpick spen like on the s24 ultra it's not as comfortable but better than nothing.

Imagine Samsung releasing this having only just purchased the original Z Fold 6. Kind of admitting they got the Z Fold 6 wrong...I'd feel betrayed (if daft enough to have purchased the Z Fold 6!).

I have both a Z Fold 6 and an S24 Ultra. I really dislike swapping between phones depending on my daily use. With this Special Edition, I'd only need one phone for great photos and larger tasks for business. Plus, the cover will display most apps how they were intended to be viewed (candybar style). I might have to import this to the US. I just hope it works fine on Verizon.

Samsung is on their 6th generation foldable. Stop with the "copying Apple" nonsense. Yes, I realize who said it, but how many foldables have Apple made...? Exactly... 🤦🏿‍♂️🚶🏿‍♂️🚶🏿‍♂️🚶🏿‍♂️

This (fold 6), I'm guessing, came from their design progression to the triple fold which is next and needed square corners to allow for one screen... It just took them longer to override whoever was pushing the narrow design. Which it appears the competition pushed the issue. So now being beaten to the thinnest fold and now a triple fold they need to get something out there to stop the bleeding of 3 years wasted on a too-narrow design. Here's hoping they get the special edition and triple-fold out soon as they could have done years ago instead of the wasted time on the wrong design.

But what good is it if they’re only releasing it in Korea and China? The Special Edition should be the regular Z Fold. Hope Samsung does that from 2025 onwards.

You're better off buying the Honor Magic V3 global version which is available to buy right now. It has stylus support on the inner screen and outer screen. Win win!

I love the z fold 6 in general as it is a solid phone. As a regular person user, the functionality is great and smooth. However, I returned it due to it's very narrow cover screen, just pain in the a$s typing on it. I will buy it again if they make the cover screen at least a little bit wider.

Why would they not release this in US markets? They didnt make good sales with the fold 6 so why not try to push the more wanted product? Strange to me but hey what do i know

I wish I could trade it back in and get the same discount. I got an $1100.00 discount when I traded in my Z Fold 3. I know i won't get the same discount since I just got the Z Fold 6 🤬

this is why i dont upgrade to the latest phone every year because they release thaat many phones that you are guranteed to have yet another one get released with a biger screen and slightly updated so whats the point

I remember when they started talking about the zfold 6 ultra. It was only to release in the Chinese market unfortunately. I hope this isn't true but it might be. With huawies new tri fold i dont think samsungs going to do to good in China so i hope this releases world wide.
